A book by Eric Quinn Hargrove
Find yourself again,
one solo day at a time.
365 things to do alone, each with space to reflect, so you can reconnect with who you are and what you actually enjoy.
When did you last spend time just with yourself?
Work, family, and everyone else's plans fill the calendar. Somewhere along the way, it gets hard to remember what you like, what you want, or who you are when no one needs anything from you.
The Solo Year is a simple way back. One small activity a day, done alone, with a few minutes to notice how it felt.
How it works
Three steps, every day
Open to today.
Each day has one activity you can do on your own.
Go do it.
Most take an hour or less and cost little or nothing.
Write what you noticed.
The paperback gives you notes space for every day, so the book becomes a record of your year.

Meet Eric
Eric Quinn Hargrove wrote The Solo Year after a stretch of life when he had lost his sense of direction. Sitting alone by the ocean, he noticed that nearly all of his happiest moments had come when he was out on his own, exploring and following his curiosity. So he bought a plain composition book, started trying something new, and wrote down what each experience showed him. Page by page, he found his way back. This book is that composition book, offered to you.
Questions
Do I have to do the days in order?
No. Start on any day and move around as you like.
Is this only for single people?
Not at all. It's for anyone who wants time with themselves, whether you're single, partnered, or a parent.
Paperback or ebook?
The paperback includes writing space for every day, so it doubles as a journal. The ebook is great if you'd rather keep notes on your phone.
What if I'm not comfortable doing things alone?
That's exactly who this is for. Many activities start small and build up from there.
Your solo year starts today.
